Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate Manager (Project and CAPEX) in Quezon City for a hybrid work setting. The role oversees financial management of project costs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

You will monitor CAPEX transactions, ensure proper approval and coding, track budgets vs actuals, and support month-end and year-end closings, audits, and ERP records (SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or finance; CPA preferred.
• 4–5 years of experience in project or cost accounting.
• Experience handling CAPEX or project-based transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record project-related (CAPEX) transactions.
• Ensure all project expenses are approved, documented, and coded.
• Track budgets vs actual spend and report variances.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.

Job Description:

The Accounting Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management and control of project-related costs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting of all project expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record project-related (CAPEX) transactions
• Ensure all project expenses are properly approved, documented, and coded
• Track project budgets vs actual spend and highlight variances
• Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities
• Prepare project cost reports and financial summaries for management
• Assist in internal and external audit requirements
• Maintain accurate project financial records in the accounting system (e.g., SAP or similar ERP)
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and finance stakeholders
• Support process improvements in project cost tracking and controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA is preferred
• At least 4-5 years of experience in project accounting, cost accounting, or general accounting
• Proven experience handling CAPEX or project-based transactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data handling, basic analysis, reporting)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, FICO, MM, PS or Asset Accounting modules) is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
