First Datacorp in Makati City is seeking a meticulous Accountant to prepare, record, and maintain financial records in line with accounting standards and tax regulations.

You will support month-end and year-end closes, ensure timely financial reporting, and uphold internal controls and company policies. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Accountancy, 1–2 years' experience in general accounting, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or tax compliance.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations (e.g. PFRS).
• Experience with GL, reconciliations, and month-/year-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulatory filings.

Ensure the timely preparation of financial reports, proper documentation of transactions, and the integrity of accounting data. Support month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in general accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, or tax compliance.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations (e.g., PFRS).
• Working knowledge of general ledger functions, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software, financial systems, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of Philippine tax laws, compliance requirements, and regulatory filings.
