Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. seeks an Accounting Assistant to support the finance team with journals, vouchers, billing, VAT schedules, and tax returns. The role requires basic accounting knowledge and attention to detail, with availability to travel to our distribution center in Marilao, Bulacan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field required.
• At least 6 months accounting and tax experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Willing to travel to the Alfamart Distribution Center in Marilao, Bulacan.

Responsibilities

• Analyze different company accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Prepare vouchers and checks.
• Maintain up-to-date billing system.
• Reconcile advances to/from affiliates.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT schedules for remittance.
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly BIR returns and other tax matters.
• Prepare government remittances.
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
