Job summary

Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the finance and accounting team in various tasks, maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Helps in maintaining business registration and handles all compliance and regulatory requirements of local taxing authorities. The role involves preparing vouchers, VAT schedules, BIR returns, and government remittances, with fresh graduates welcome

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 6 months of working experience in accounting and taxes preferred.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply!
• Willing to be assigned in: SILANG, CAVITE

Responsibilities

• Analyze different company accounts and prepare necessary adjusting journal entries.
• Prepares vouchers and checks.
• Maintains up-to-date billing system.
• Reconciles advances to/ from affiliates.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly VAT schedules for remittance.
• Prepares and submits monthly and quarterly BIR returns and other tax matters.
• Prepares government remittances.
• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
