Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. is hiring an Accounting Assistant to support the finance team in recording transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Fresh graduates are welcome and willing to be assigned in Pasay City.

You will analyze accounts, prepare vouchers, manage billing, VAT schedules, and assist with BIR returns and remittances. The role offers growth within a fast-growing retail chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 6 months of working experience in accounting and taxes is preferred.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to be assigned in: Pasay City

Responsibilities

• Analyze different company accounts and prepare necessary adjusting journal entries.
• Prepares vouchers and checks.
• Maintains up-to-date billing system.
• Reconciles advances to/ from affiliates.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly VAT schedules for remittance.
• Prepares and submits monthly and quarterly BIR returns and other tax matters.
• Prepares government remittances.
• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
