Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Assist with end-of-month close and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Perform audit preparation and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Review vouchers, attachments, and disbursements for accuracy.

Job description

The Accounting and Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire finance and accounting processes, responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, profit & loss reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned.

Duties And Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Ensure operational compliance with accounting principles, procedures and regulations.
• Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow analysis.
• Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts in the monthly closing schedule.
• Check payroll and attachments, all government return and remittance reports.
• Check, approve and budget all disbursements.
• Develop and manage annual or multi-year budgets and budget forecasts that will be used by the management.
• Prepare monthly financial reports to management.
• Audit check vouchers and attachments.
• Assist accounting supervisor for work related concerns.
