Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from a reputable college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of combined professional experience in payroll & compensation, accounts payable, general accounting, financial accounting, or audit.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with accounting software or financial applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with financial data handling and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll and compensation accounting activities, ensuring accurate processing and accounting treatment.
• Perform accounting activities related to payroll, employee compensation, and related financial transactions.
• Review payroll-related accounting entries, supporting documentation, and reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and general accounting activities as required.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure records are accurate.
• Assist with journal entries, month-end close activities, and other payroll accounting processes.
• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll and accounting issues.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by providing relevant schedules and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant – Payroll & Compensation to support payroll and compensation‑related accounting activities while contributing to broader finance and accounting operations.
