Job summary

Dover Business Services (DBS) delivers select transactional finance services for Dover Corporation from multiple global locations, including Cebu, Philippines. The Intercompany Accounting role involves executing daily accounting tasks, ensuring timely month-end closings, and coordinating reconciliations and intercompany settlements across the shared services group.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, solid GL knowledge, and experience with SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required or equivalent.
• Prior Intercompany Accounting or general accounting experience.
• Experience with GL, journals, and large-volume reconciliations.
• ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle; Oracle preferred.
• 2–3 years in a shared service or BPO environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel (formulas, pivots, charts) and MS Office; SharePoint/web apps helpful.
• Lean Six Sigma training a plus; continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute accounting and daily operations for Intercompany Accounting.
• Ensure timely closing per calendar and SLA commitments.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve intercompany items.
• Process intercompany receivables/payables and coordinate with partners.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals; support netting processes.
• Provide audit support and engage with stakeholders across the SSC.

DBS operates shared service centres in China, North America, the Philippines and Scotland.Essential ResponsibilitiesResponsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Intercompany Accounting process area.Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitmentsAccountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scopeRegular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations (Interco AR and AP) to minimize open items.Monitors, reviews, and resolves intercompany receivables and payables.
