Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking an experienced Accountant to audit and prepare financial statements for client companies. The role involves ensuring compliance with BIR/SEC requirements, tax submissions, and management of corporate tax activities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accountancy, CPA licensure, and at least five years of related work experience. The position is based in Makati City with standard work hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA licensure is required or pending.
• Five years of relevant experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review financial reports for assigned client.
• Prepare final financial statements for BIR/SEC submission.
• Prepare BIR VAT and tax returns and other forms.
• Generate and remit payments to government agencies (SSS, PHIC, Pag-IBIG).
• Supervise and assist accounting staff.
• Ensure corporate tax compliance and reporting.
• Respond to tax/accounting questions from clients.
• Advise on effective accounting methods.

Salary Range

• Php50k above- For candidates with at least five (5) years of work experience in related field.
• Php50k above- For candidates with at least five (5) years of work experience in related field.
• Php60k above - For candidates with more than five (5) years of work experience in related field.

WORK SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri (8 am to 5 pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Audit, maintain and review financial reports and statements of assigned client company.
• Preparation of final financial statements for submission to BIR and SEC.
• Preparation of BIR requirements such as VAT returns, withholding tax returns, corporate income tax returns and other BIR forms and requirements.
• Preparation of reports and payments to various government agencies such as SSS, PHIC and Pagibig.
• Supervise and assist accounting staff.
• Corporate tax compliance and management.
• Respond and recommends to tax and accounting queries and concerns of client companies.
• Recommend strategic and feasible accounting methods to client companies.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Must have passed the CPA licensure examination.
• Minimum of Five (5) years' work experience in the related field is required.
• Proficient in Quickbooks system and MS Office application such as MS Word and Excel.
• Knowledgeable in Philippine Taxation system.
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadline.
• Required language(s): English, Pilipino.
• Applicant must be willing to work in Makati City.
• Can start immediately (ASAP).
