Overview

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and taxation. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy and timely updating of financial records, and play a key role in preparing financial statements and managing tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily bookkeeping and accounting operations
• Ensure accurate and timely recording, updating, and maintenance of financial records
• Review journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations prepared by accounting staff
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (FS) including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements
• Perform and review bank and account reconciliations
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes
• Maintain organized financial documentation for audit and regulatory purposes
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and internal controls
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to junior accounting staff

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 35 years of relevant accounting experience, with supervisory or leadership exposure
• Strong background in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and taxation
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• High level of integrity in handling confidential financial information

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Experience handling BIR compliance and tax audits
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and process improvement
