First Gen Corporation is seeking a CPA with a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy to join our accounting team in Ortigas, Pasig. The role involves general accounting duties, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial statement reconciliation, in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA credential, a relevant degree, and at least one year of experience, with familiarity in tax compliance and year-end reporting. Hybrid work arrangement available within Ortigas area.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares journals, vouchers, and reconciles ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Prepares and reports accounting transactions; reviews records for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepares tax returns and facilitates e-filing/e-payment where applicable.
• Prepares year-end financial statements, tax returns, and supporting schedules for year-end audit.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs general accounting activities such as the preparation of journals, vouchers as well as preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Prepares and reports accounting transactions. May support the review of accounting records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable policies and processes.
• Prepares tax returns, reports and performs e‑filing and e‑payment of such tax returns, as applicable.
• reparation of year-end financial statements and tax returns as well as supporting schedules in relation to year-end audit
