Job Description
Government Mandated Benefits
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flows.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
2. Payroll Management (Manpower/Staffing Focus)
- Prepare and process payroll for deployed workers and internal employees.
- Calculate overtime, allowances, deductions, government contributions, and final pay.
- Ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with HR and operations for worker timesheets and attendance.
- Prepare invoices for clients based on placement fees, service charges, or monthly billing cycles.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
- Coordinate with clients regarding billing disputes or clarifications.
4. Accounts Payable
- Verify and process supplier invoices and payments.
- Manage petty cash and reimbursement claims.
- Ensure timely payment of government dues and statutory contributions.
5. Compliance & Audit
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and agency-specific licensing requirements.
- File monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns as required.
6. Administrative & Coordination Tasks
- Support management with financial analysis and reports.
- Assist with client contracts involving financial terms.
Maintain proper filing and accounting systems.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is an advantage but not required.
Work Experience
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a manpower, recruitment, or service-based industry).
- Experience in payroll processing and invoicing is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, Peachtree).
- Knowledge of tax filing requirements and labor-related payroll rules.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Additional Requirements
