Job summary

World Citi Colleges seeks an experienced administrator to coordinate academic programs and people processes. The role involves preparing syllabi, guiding students, organizing reference materials, and explaining grading systems while ensuring confidentiality of records and adherence to accreditation standards.

The position also includes curriculum development involvement, recommending seminars, and managing teaching staff, performance, and onboarding to support a high-performing academic team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the course syllabus and submits to the Dean for approval.
• Provides students with a list of reference materials for the course.
• Explains the grading system for the course.
• Teaches classes according to the approved course syllabus.
• Encourages students to ask questions and discuss openly in the classroom.
• Provides a regular schedule for academic consultation with students of the course.
• Recommends course-related seminars and symposia as necessary that will provide additional learning to the class.
• Prepares draft of the test questionnaires with table of specification for major exams and submits to the Dean for approval.
• Encodes the results of the preliminary, midterm and final exam of students in the standard/ appropriate system.
• Keeps the confidentiality of all academic records.
• Recommends to the Dean a substitute teacher when on leave.
• Refers students to the Guidance Office for counseling, as needed.
• Contributes in curriculum development and revision.
• Ensures that QMS and other accreditation standards are being implemented, monitored and documented.
• Performs any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.
• Oversees and executes core people processes for direct reports, including job description review and updates, hiring and onboarding, goal-setting, performance evaluation, coaching, employee development, and compliance with HR policies and procedures, ensuring a high-performing and engaged team.
