Job summary

Business Trends Philippines is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage and monitor personnel across departments in Metro Manila. You will coordinate labor deployment, ensure effective communication, and align activities with budgets and annual plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, strong oversight of attendance and payroll processes, and adherence to company SOPs and HSE guidelines. This is a full-time on-site position with responsibilities across multiple cost centers.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development, labor deployment, liquidation, billings and communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and monitor operations of personnel to enable collaboration and efficient communication.
• Arrange schedules for labor deployment as requested/communicated by the cost centers.
• Lead/supervisor approvals by Cost Center Owner as per budget and yearly plan.
• Monitor attendance including the daily time record, lateness, reason for absence and undertime.
• Process person-hour data, budget requests, liquidation, and billing communications per cost center.
• Prepare payroll cut‑off and liaise with HR for performance appraisal discussions for promotion/demotion.
• Schedule monthly meetings on the 26th with cost center owners/leads.
• Enforce SMSI’s Code of Conduct and company SOPs in cooperation with Syngenta standards.
• Coordinate placement and orientation of newly hired personnel including HSE, Seed Quality Control, and Security.
• Check employee benefits status.
• Ensure monthly journal plan is executed.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for management, supervising and monitoring operations of personnel in various departments to enable collaboration and efficient communication providing excellent

• Leads/Supervisor approved by Cost Center Owner as per budget and yearly plan.
• Attendance monitoring including the daily time record, late, reason of absence and undertime.
• Responsible for processing the person-hour data, budget request, liquidation, and billing communication per cost center.
• Prepares payroll cut-off and acts as extended liaison of Human Resource Department including the assessment communication on the Performance Appraisal Form for promotion/demotion.
• Presentation and schedules a monthly meeting every 26th of cost center owner/leads.
• Supervise, practice, and follow the discipline of SMSI’s Code of Conduct in cooperation with the Syngenta General SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
• Executing the placement and coordination of newly hired including the orientation on HSE, Seed Quality Control, and Security.
• Responsible for checking employee’s benefits status.
• Sees to it that monthly journal plan will be executed.
