Job summary

REMOTE STAFF, INC. is seeking a drafting professional to create and modify 3D models and detailed technical drawings from engineering designs, sketches, specifications, and site measurements.

You will develop accurate 3D models of structural, mechanical, or architectural components and produce 2D drawings from these models with dimensions, sections and material specs, ensuring conformity with project standards and Australian requirements.

Qualifications

• 3D modeling and 2D detailing from designs, sketches and measurements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and detailed technical drawings from designs and site measurements.
• Prepare fabrication, shop, assembly, installation and construction drawings.
• Develop accurate 3D models of structural, mechanical, or architectural components.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings from 3D models with dimensions and material specs.
• Interpret and apply project specifications and relevant standards.
• Revise drawings/models based on feedback from engineers and clients.
• Check drawings and models for dimensional and coordination accuracy before submission.

About the role

Create and modify 3D models and detailed technical drawings based on engineering designs, sketches, specifications, and site measurements. Develop accurate 3D models of structural, mechanical, architectural, or engineered components and produce detailed 2D drawings from 3D models, including dimensions, annotations, sections, elevations, and material specifications. Ensure drawings and models comply with project specifications, relevant Australian standards, and company drafting procedures.
