Job summary

Maxicare Health Care in the Philippines is seeking a 2D Echo Technologist to perform echocardiograms and collaborate with Cardiologists to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging and timely diagnoses. A hands-on training program welcomes allied health professionals transitioning into diagnostics, including a one-year service commitment, offering a path to a specialized clinical career.

You will prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, coordinate results, and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• BS Radiologic Technology preferred, with RRT or RXT.
• Certification in 2D Echo from a recognized training center preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Basic ultrasound troubleshooting understanding.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and willingness to be trained.
• Ability to multitask and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality 2D echocardiograms (M-mode, Doppler, Color flow imaging).
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort.
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound machines.
• Coordinate with Cardiologists and ensure timely result delivery.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and data privacy.
• Maintain equipment and monitor supplies.
