Job summary

Maxicare Health Care is seeking a 2D Echo Technologist to perform echocardiograms and partner closely with Cardiologists, ensuring high-quality cardiac imaging and timely diagnostic care in our busy clinic.

Candidates from allied health backgrounds can apply through our hands-on training program with a one-year service commitment; the role includes patient preparation, operating ultrasound equipment, coordinating results with physicians, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to equipment

Qualifications

• BS Radiologic Technology preferred (RRT or RXT).
• Certified in 2D Echo from a recognized training center.
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Experience or willingness to be trained in ultrasound equipment.
• Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality 2D echocardiograms (M-mode, Doppler, Color flow imaging).
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort.
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound machines.
• Coordinate with Cardiologists and ensure timely result delivery.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and data privacy.
• Maintain equipment and monitor supplies.
