Ascendion is seeking a Software System Engineer to handle Day 2 production support, DevOps, deployments, troubleshooting, and reliability in a 24/7 environment. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins, deploy apps with Docker/Kubernetes, and support Linux/Windows environments across DEV to Production.

Qualifications include 3+ years in DevOps or related roles, plus scripting (Bash/Python/PowerShell), Git, and incident RCA experience.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Software System Engineering, Production/Application Support, or Platform Support.
• CI/CD with GitLab/Jenkins.
• Git proficiency.
• Bash/Python/PowerShell/Shell scripting.
• Production troubleshooting and deployment experience.
• Willingness to support a 24/7 operational environment.
• Nice to have: Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, VMware, SonarQube, API integration, HA/DR, ITIL, Government projects.

Aufgaben

• Provide Day 2 / production support, incident troubleshooting, and RCA.
• Manage deployments, rollbacks, monitoring, and system health.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Git.
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Podman.
• Support Linux/Windows servers and DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Work with React, Node.js, and Spring Boot applications.
• Perform scripting and automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Shell.
• Support HA/DR, security compliance, documentation, and standby operations.
