FUNDACIO INSTITUT D'INVESTIGACIO EN CIENCIES DE LA SALUT GERMANS TRIAS I PUJOL, located on the Can Ruti Campus near Barcelona, seeks a physiotherapist to support gait rehabilitation using the Awake exoskeleton. You will work with the medical team to promote patient recovery and functional gains.

The ideal candidate holds a physiotherapy degree recognised in Spain, is registered with the Col·legi de Fisioterapeutes, and speaks Spanish and Catalan to communicate with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy recognised in Spain.
• Registration with the Col·legi de Fisioterapeutes is required.
• Knowledge of neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Basic understanding of robotic rehabilitation devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Awake exoskeleton during gait rehabilitation sessions with the medical team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The physiotherapist will use the Awake exoskeleton device in gait rehabilitation sessions, working alongside the medical team to support the patient's functional recovery.

A degree in Physiotherapy recognised in Spain, or an equivalent qualification recognised under EU directives for the free movement of health professionals, is required. Official registration with the relevant professional body (Col·legi de Fisioterapeutes) is required.
Fluency in Spanish and Catalan, sufficient to communicate clearly with patients, families and the clinical team.
Knowledge of neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation principles in adult populations. Familiarity with gait analysis and gait rehabilitation techniques. Basic understanding of robotic technology-assisted rehabilitation devices.

Additional Information

• Part-time: 30h / week
• The gross mensual remuneration for the position is 2.195€.
• 23 days of holiday and 5 days for personal matters.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
