Job summary

Institut de Recerca Biomèdica de Lleida, Fundació Dr. Pifarré (IRBLleida) seeks a trainee researcher to join the Clinical and Molecular Phenotyping (CMP) Research Group focusing on non-coding RNAs as biomarkers in chronic diseases.

The candidate will work on RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, and transcriptomic analyses. Requirements include a strong bachelor’s record (top grades) and a Master’s in health sciences, plus English level B2.

Qualifications

• Academic record of the bachelor’s degree greater than 8 points.
• Master's degree related to the field of health sciences.
• English level B2 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Offer Description

The selected person will join the Clinical and Molecular Phenotyping (CMP) Research Group as a trainee researcher within the research line ''Identification of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) of pathogenic origin as biomarkers in the context of chronic diseases''.

Specific Requirements

Experience

• Experience in processing and handling biological samples, including RNA extraction and analysis.
• Experience in molecular biology techniques and laboratory techniques related to the processing and characterization of biological samples.
• Experience in analysis, processing and interpretation of omics data using computational biology tools.
• Experience in bioinformatics and/or biostatistical analysis applied to biological data.
• Experience in programming and handling programming languages applied to biological data analysis (e.g., R, Python).
• Ability to organize and work in a team.
• Creativity, empathy, enthusiasm and ease of learning.
