Job summary

The University of Innsbruck invites applications for a temporary position as Recognised Researcher (R2) in the Faculty of Psychology and Sport Science. You will conduct independent research in developmental psychology across the lifespan and deliver teaching modules, while supervising students and contributing to administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include securing third-party funding, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging in further training.

Qualifications

• PhD in psychology or closely related field.
• Experience in acquisition and analysis of brain imaging data.
• Experience with EEG-fMRI data during sleep in young and older adults.
• Ability to secure third-party funding.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience with patient populations desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work in a team.

Job profile:

Your responsibilities:

Your profile:

• A completed relevant doctoral or PhD degree in psychology
• Experience in the acquisition and analysis of brain imaging data and in the use of Matlab, Python, R or SPSS
• Experience in acquiring and analysing EEG-fMRI data during sleep in young and older adults is a necessary prerequisite
• Experience in independently securing third-party funding
• Very good written and spoken English is also a requirement
• Experience of working with patient populations is desirable
• Good communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team
