Edge is seeking a Trilingual Insurance Coordinator to support daily insurance servicing, client communications, and administrative operations in a remote environment.

The role involves handling policy changes, renewals, and quotes, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining audit-ready client records while using Portuguese, Spanish, and English to serve diverse clients.

Formación

• Based in Miraflores, Lima.
• Experience with US Personal or Commercial Lines insurance preferred.
• Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
• Experience in US insurance and customer-facing service required.
• Familiarity with ACORD forms, policy servicing workflows, and carrier quoting portals.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Handle inbound calls, emails, and service requests professionally across Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
• Process policy endorsements, reinstatements, cancellations, and renewals; issue ACORD forms and COIs.
• Prepare new business and renewal quotes using carrier portals, rating tools, and AMS/CRM.
• Compile, format, and organize client proposals for internal review, verifying exposure data, limits, and classifications.
• Communicate directly with carriers to resolve underwriting questions, obtain missing information, and follow up on submissions.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready client records, tracking renewal deadlines and workflow timelines.
• Escalate complex billing, claims, coverage, or underwriting matters to appropriate team leaders.

About the Role

We are looking for a Trilingual Insurance Coordinator to support day-to-day insurance servicing, client communications, and administrative operations. This role delivers responsive, high-quality support to policyholders while managing insurance requests, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining precise account records in a remote environment.

This position interacts directly with clients, carrier representatives, and internal agency teams in Portuguese, Spanish, and English to handle policy changes, generate quotes, and ensure seamless operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, emails, and service requests professionally across Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
• Process policy endorsements, reinstatements, cancellations, and renewals; issue ACORD forms and Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
• Prepare new business and renewal quotes using carrier portals, rating tools, and agency management systems (AMS/CRM).
• Compile, format, and organize client proposals for internal review, verifying exposure data, limits, and classifications.
• Communicate directly with carriers to resolve underwriting questions, obtain missing information, and follow up on submissions.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready client records, tracking renewal deadlines and workflow timelines.

Requirements

• Candidates must be based in Miraflores, Lima.
• Prior experience with US Personal or Commercial Lines insurance preferred.
• Must be located in San Jose, Costa Rica with a reliable work-from-home setup (power backup/stable ISP required).
• Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English (verbal and written).
• Prior experience in US insurance (Personal or Commercial Lines) and customer-facing service required.
• Familiarity with ACORD forms, policy servicing workflows, and carrier quoting portals.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
