Sezzle is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our innovative technology team. You will help develop and maintain backend and frontend services, write clean code, and participate in code reviews on real-world fintech projects.

You'll work with Golang, Python, and Typescript, with React/React Native on the frontend, Git and Gitlab for version control, and a focus on automated testing. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience with Claude or equivalent LLM tools.

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer Intern to join our innovative technology team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and work within a highly skilled group of developers to build and maintain features for Sezzle’s platform. As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll contribute to real‑world projects, participate in code reviews, and gain exposure to Sezzle’s technology stack.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend and frontend services.
• Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features and resolve bugs.
• Work on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of Sezzle's platform.
• Document software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Languages: Golang, Typescript, Python
• Frontend: Typescript - React and React Native
• Version Control: Git
• CI/CD: Gitlab
• Testing: Developer-driven, focus on automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests
