Hitachi Rail is seeking an engineer to realize signalling and telecommunications systems for a major project. The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background. Fluency in English is required.

The incumbent will ensure compliance with design specifications, coordinate with customers and partners, and uphold HSE standards on site while supporting subcontractor resource optimization.

• Check the quality of the works (e.g. compliance of the works with the projects design and specifications)
• Ensure compliance of construction activities with the construction planning
• Liaise with Customers /Authorities /Contractors/ Partner/Subcontractors for site and/or materials takeover and/or handover
• Ensure the compliance on site of the rules foreseen by the HSE
