Hitachi Rail STS S.P.A. is seeking an engineering professional in Lima to lead the realization of signalling and telecommunications systems for assigned projects.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience, knowledge of local rules and standards, and strong planning skills. English fluency is required, with adherence to HSE plans and coordination with customers and subcontractors.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure realization of signalling and/or telecommunications systems for the assigned project.
• Check the quality of works against design and specifications.
• Ensure construction activities comply with planning.
• Liaise with customers, authorities, contractors and subcontractors for site handover.
• Ensure on-site compliance with HSE management plan rules.
• Support optimization of subcontractor resources.

Job Description

Accountabilities

• Ensure the realization of the signalling and/or telecommunications systems for the assigned project.
• With reference to the Signaling & Telecom Systems: Check the quality of the works (e.g. compliance of the works with the projects design and specifications)
• Ensure compliance of construction activities with the construction planning
• Liaise with Customers /Authorities /Contractors/ Partner/Subcontractors for site and/or materials takeover and/or handover
• Ensure the compliance on site of the rules foreseen by the HSE Management plan, for the works under his/her responsibility
• Support the optimization of the subcontractor resources

Education/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Engineering or Equivalent Technical background
