PCI Energy Solutions in Peru is seeking a Senior Tech Software Analyst with advanced English to provide application support, QA, and insights for energy-sector software customers. The role requires strong SQL and Java knowledge and experience in testing, documentation and Agile processes.

On-site Tue–Thu at Magdalena del Mar, Lima, with a hybrid work setup. You will work with internal and external clients, help validate data integration, map test scenarios to requirements, and lead test

Formación

• Proficiency in English and Spanish for working with stakeholders and documenting in both languages.
• 5+ years in a technical business analysis, software analysis, or quality engineering role supporting enterprise software; QA experience.
• Ability to write, review, and troubleshoot SQL against production-like datasets.
• Working knowledge of Java and ability to read application code; not a software-engineering role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide application support and consulting to internal and external clients on the proper use of PCI products
• Improve the quality and enhance the features of PCI software products by working with application development team.
• Perform testing, documentation, and quality assurance for new product features
• Understands and have working knowledge of Agile process.
• Validate Alignment of Data and Integration requirements
• Validate test scenarios mapping to business requirements
• Lead execution to test cases in client environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written), sufficient to work with stakeholders, write requirements, and review documentation in both languages.
• 5+ years in a technical business analysis, software analysis, or quality engineering role supporting enterprise software, including at least 2 years in software QA. Experience with financial, accounting, settlement, or valuation systems is strongly preferred.
• Ability to write, review, and troubleshoot SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions, data validation queries) against production-like datasets.
• Working proficiency in Java sufficient to read application code, follow data flows, and partner with developers on defects and design questions. This is not a software-engineering role.
• Demonstrated discipline in test design: requirements-to-test traceability, positive/negative/boundary cases, regression coverage, and clear expected results for complex calculations.
• Proven quantitative reasoning: can interpret financial or operational numbers (valuations, P&L, exposures, settlements, sensitivities), judge whether results are plausible, and explain the business meaning of variances.
• Availability to work on site from Tuesday to Thursday (Magdalena del Mar, Lima).
• Advanced English Level.
