Carrier Gulf opportunities are open for experienced professionals to lead HVAC and mechanical replacement projects from site surveys to commissioning. The role requires strong planning, coordination with clients and suppliers, and delivering compliant, high-quality project outcomes.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and proven experience in HVAC replacements, retrofits, and existing-facility projects.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Conduct site surveys for HVAC/mechanical replacement projects and define scope of work.
• Prepare RFQs with scope of work, BOQs, technical requirements and drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for compliant and competitive quotations.
• Manage projects from site assessment through commissioning, snag clearance and handover.
• Review submittals, quotations and method statements to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to resolve site issues.
• Monitor schedules, costs, quality, safety, deliveries and progress, flag potential delays and risks.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates and variation requests with supporting docs.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, contractual requirements and health and safety rules.
• Coordinate project closeout activities including commissioning and final handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys for HVAC and mechanical replacement projects, verify existing conditions, identify technical requirements, and define the required scope of work.
• Prepare comprehensive Requests for Quotation (RFQs), including scope of work, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), technical requirements, drawings, and relevant site information.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate technically compliant and commercially competitive quotations.
• Manage assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle, from initial site assessment and procurement to execution, testing and commissioning, snag clearance, and final handover.
• Review technical submittals, quotations, equipment and material selections, method statements, and subcontractor proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges and site-related issues.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, safety, material deliveries, and site progress, proactively identifying potential delays, risks, and commercial impacts.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, variation requests, and supporting technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, contractual requirements, company procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate project closeout activities, including commissioning, snag resolution, and final handover documentation.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical and HVAC projects, preferably involving equipment replacement, retrofit, and existing-facility projects.
• Strong experience in site surveys, HVAC equipment replacement, RFQ preparation, BOQ and scope development, technical evaluation, and project execution.
• Proven experience coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects through testing and commissioning, snag closure, and final handover.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), packaged units, pumps, piping, ductwork, controls, and associated mechanical works.
• Strong project planning, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, project reports, and project progress records.
