FullStack is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer—Laravel & Go Microservices—to join our remote talent network serving US clients. You’ll integrate with client teams, own backend systems, and evolve monolithic code toward scalable microservices in Go while maintaining PHP/Laravel heritage.

You have 5+ years of backend experience, strong English, and a degree. You’ll work in an Agile/Scrum environment with on-call rotations and CI/CD—delivering robust, high-availability services for demanding

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as a Senior Backend Engineer - Laravel & Go Microservices.

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Has developed, deployed, and maintained core monolithic backends using Laravel and PHP.
• Has extracted monolithic application logic and rewritten it into Go Microservices.
• Has scaled backend infrastructure to handle high-traffic product launches and high-concurrency user loads.
• Has executed on-call engineering rotation duties with strict acknowledgment SLAs (e.g., 15 minutes).
• Familiarity with building or supporting payments, redemptions, or fraud prevention pipelines is a nice to have.
• Previous exposure to frontend or mobile stacks such as Next.js or React Native is a nice to have.
• Experience using AI coding assistants like Claude Code or Cursor in your daily workflow is a nice to have.
• Availability to work standard business hours aligned with the Pacific Time (PT) zone.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
