FullStack is a premier IT talent network connecting engineers with US clients for flexible, project-based work. We seek a Senior Backend Engineer Tech Lead to join a 3-4 month engagement and integrate into the client team, shaping architecture and delivering scalable backend solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software engineering, 2+ years of technical leadership, and strong Node.js/TypeScript expertise. Advanced English and a four-year degree are required.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in technical leadership influencing architecture and engineering direction.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Track record of architecting Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) systems and robust API middleware for mobile platforms.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront).
• Solid background in MongoDB and optimizing backend deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Salesforce OCAPI/API, CMS-driven content management, and mobile integrations.
• Strong history of designing and securing scalable microservices and event-driven architectures for high-scale e-commerce systems.
• Comfortable with AI development tools (LangChain or LlamaIndex) and agentic workflows.
• Ability to work with external vendors and represent engineering teams in client interactions.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate directly into the client’s team and collaborate with designers and engineers daily.
• Lead architectural discussions and influence engineering direction.
• Architect and implement scalable backend services and APIs for mobile platforms.
