FullStack is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer Tech Lead for remote, project-based work with US clients. You will join a client team and collaborate with designers and engineers to shape backend systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

We expect 6+ years of software engineering, leadership experience, strong Node.js/TypeScript skills, and a track record with microservices, BFF, and AI tooling. Excellent English and a four-year degree are required.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in technical leadership influencing architecture and engineering direction.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Track record of architecting Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) systems and robust API middleware for mobile platforms.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront).
• MongoDB and optimizing backend deployment pipelines.
• Salesforce OCAPI/API, CMS-driven content management, and mobile-specific integrations.
• Strong history of designing scalable microservices and event-driven architectures for high-scale e-commerce systems.
• Experience with AI tools including LangChain or LlamaIndex and agentic workflows.
• Client-facing collaboration with external vendors.
• Ability to work through difficult issues and contribute to libraries.
• Ability to maintain CI/CD for applications.
• Forensic attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience on large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership of work and align with client goals.
