Citi Peru is seeking a Regulatory Reporting specialist within the Controllers Organization. The role reports to the Finance Accounting Manager and supports preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to local regulators in line with applicable requirements.

You will collaborate with Finance and non-Finance teams across Citi to close books, produce filings, and drive process improvements in the reporting framework while communicating complex information clearly in English.

Formación

• Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or Master's degree preferred.
• 2-5+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
• Intermediate communication skills in English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period.
• Support on the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports.
• Support the team’s efforts to drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process.
• Provide support to the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations, providing accurate information and analysis to support regulatory reviews.
• Work with peers and program leaders on the implementation of regulatory changes within the reporting framework.

The Regulatory Reporting role is a position within the Controllers Organization that will report to Finance Accounting Manager. The individual will support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to local regulators, based on applicable requirements such as local regulatory reporting rules and instructions. The position will have visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directly with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Enterprise Technology, & Operations.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
• Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.
• Intermediate communication skills in English is required
