Job summary

Braintrust is seeking a QA engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on testing for web and mobile apps, including cross‑browser verification. Qualifications

• 3–5 years in QA/quality engineering, hands-on with both manual/functional and automated testing.
• Experience testing web and mobile apps, including cross-browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and cross-device verification.
• Solid test-case design, execution, and regression testing discipline (able to own recurring daily/regression sweeps).
• Working knowledge of core Web3 flows: wallet connections (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, WalletConnect), transaction signing, and on‑chain vs off‑chain behavior. Need to have smart contract + wallet testing experience.
• Experience testing third‑party/exchange (CEX) integrations end to end (e.g. Coinbase‑style connect flows).
• Comfortable setting up and managing test accounts, credentials, and environments.
• Clear, reproducible bug reporting and tracking in Linear (or Jira), with crisp repro steps and evidence.
• Scripting ability in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python at a working level.
• Strong written English and ability to collaborate across US/Europe/India.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA on web and mobile apps with cross-browser/cross-device validation.
• Design, implement, and execute test cases; own daily/regression sweeps.
• Test end-to-end Web3 flows including wallet connections and on‑chain vs off‑chain behavior.
• Validate integrations with third-party services (CEX) end to end.
• Set up and manage test accounts, credentials, and test environments.
• Document and report bugs clearly with reproducible steps and evidence in Linear/Jira.
• Collaborate with US/Europe/India teams; communicate clearly in English.
