A leading tech service provider is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for contract work in San Isidro, Peru. The position involves supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a data center environment. Responsibilities include hardware installations, troubleshooting, and structured cabling work. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in data center operations and strong communication skills. Competitive hourly rates are offered based on experience and project complexity.

Formación

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience required.
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems preferred.
• Familiarity with major colocation providers preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.

Conocimientos

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a)

Server hardware experience (Dell, HP, Supermicro)

Professional communication skills

Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Educación

Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar)

Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+)

Herramientas

Standard tools (screwdrivers, cable testers)

Fiber inspection equipment
