Equinix is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and evolve critical infrastructure at our site in the Callao region of Peru. You will perform on-site maintenance, manage logs and permits, and collaborate with vendors to ensure equipment reliability.

• Typically requires a high school diploma and proven years of equivalent work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs moderately difficult preventive and corrective maintenance on facility components.
• Repairs, maintains, installs and inspects facility systems; supports energy efficiency.
• Monitors the Building Monitoring System and resolves alarm issues per SOPs.
• Operates and maintains plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems.
• Operates critical infrastructures under supervision.
• Receives little instruction on daily work; follows general instructions.
• Supports work approvals with vendors; ensures maintenance activities follow SOP.
• Maintains files for plants and equipment with vendors.
• Performs site logs for permits (MOPs, scripts).
• Identifies SPOFs and makes recommendations.
• Responds to on-site incidents.
• Completes routine work requests and circuit installations.
• Troubleshoots office equipment; supports auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime.
• Makes minor changes to mechanical, electrical, and specialized systems.
• Carries out infrastructure projects.
• Collaborates with others to resolve facility incidents.
