Techstart Perú S.A.C. seeks several mid-level Full Stack AI Engineers to join our growing team on a contract basis.

You will own features end to end, from data pipelines and backend services through to the user-facing UI, with a strong emphasis on integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into production applications. You will design, build, and maintain full stack features, integrate AI/ML models, and collaborate with product managers and designers in an agile environment.

Formación

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with a focus on full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language/framework (Python, Node.js, or similar) and one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or similar).
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into production applications (API integration, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or similar).
• Experience building and working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL) and data pipeline concepts.
• Expertise in version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

What We Are Looking For

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM frameworks and tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Hugging Face, or similar).
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding systems (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or similar).
• Background in data science or applied machine learning.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Prior experience in a contractor or nearshore engagement model.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana or similar).

This is a nearshore contractor position. Team members should be comfortable collaborating across time zones in a fast-moving, highly connected environment.
