Bateman Civil Survey Co. seeks a seasoned trainer and mentor for survey technicians at our USVI office, with positions on St Thomas and St Croix. The role focuses on training, mentoring, and evaluating performance to keep the team coordinated and effective.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of surveying experience with supervisory exposure, strong communication, and a deep understanding of surveying tech and methodologies. Outdoor work in varying weather is expected.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of surveying experience, with some leadership or supervisory experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Experience in construction staking, boundary, topo, etc.
• Familiarity with Trimble software and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with minimum 5 years driving experience and clean driving record.

About the position

The individual in this role is responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluating the performance of survey technicians, ensuring the team is well-coordinated and effective. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and shows a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. A deep understanding of advanced surveying technology and methodologies, along with substantial field experience, is essential for success in this role.

This role is based at our USVI office working both on St Thomas and St Croix.
