ALPLAinject is seeking a Global Mold Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our worldwide toolmaking network. You will shape mold technology, capacity, and make-or-buy strategies while collaborating with internal tool shops, procurement, operations, and sales across the globe.

You will manage tooling costs, budgets, and investment decisions, travel internationally (40–50%), and lead cross-functional teams to deliver competitive tooling solutions in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualificações

• 8–10 years of experience in toolmaking, mold manufacturing, or tooling program management.
• Proven leadership experience in international organizations.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally (40–50%).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and further develop ALPLAinject's global internal toolmaking network.
• Balance mold capacity and demand across internal shops and external suppliers.
• Drive improvements in lead times, delivery performance, productivity, and tooling capabilities.
• Develop and execute the global mold capacity, technology, and lifecycle strategy.
• Manage tooling costs, budgets, and should-cost models to support make-or-buy decisions.
• Act as a key contributor to investment decisions and strategic tooling initiatives.
• Partner closely with Solutioning, Sales, Project Management, Operations, and Procurement to deliver competitive tooling solutions.
• Prioritize tooling projects based on business impact, customer requirements, and strategic objectives.
• Build strong international teams and develop tooling expertise across locations.

In this global role, you will shape mold technology, capacity, and make-or-buy strategies while collaborating closely with internal tool shops, procurement, operations, sales, and project management teams across the world.

What makes you great

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a comparable field.
• 8-10 years of experience in toolmaking, mold manufacturing, or tooling program management within an industrial environment.
• Proven leadership experience in international organizations.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling technologies, and mold lifecycle management.
• Excellent combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen.
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions and cultures.
• Fluent English skills; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 40-50%).
