Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an EH&S Engineer to develop, implement and monitor environmental safety programs and policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and leading safety inspections, trainings, and hazardous waste oversight. You will liaise with regulatory agencies to reinforce Lam's safety commitments and drive continuous improvement across sites and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• National industrial safety engineer certificate
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more people, preferred

Responsibilities

• Train/guide daily safety cycle including risk assessment
• Develop safety/health training plan and implement it accordingly
• Conduct safety patrol, propose correction of unsafe condition/act
• Develop/implement response system for accidents, emergency, etc.
• Respond to clients for health and safety related matters at Fabs
• Attend Customer S&H Committee & performance meeting & special meeting & safety training (Monthly & Quarterly & as needed)
• Fab Safety inspection & audit with customer's EHS (Weekly & Monthly & Quarterly)
• Joint risk assessment with customer for specific tools & high-risk activities
• Verification that safety guard & patrollers are properly performing their roles
• Conduct an internal audit & inspection to ensure engineers(inc. LSPs) are properly complying with EHS regulations & customer requests

The impact you’ll make

At Lam, as an EH&S Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, you'll perform safety inspections, conduct trainings, and oversee hazardous waste vendors and processes. Your expertise spans to life safety, workplace ergonomics, and monitoring industrial health compliance. Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies you'll not only stay current but also reinforce Lam's commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• National industrial safety engineer certificate

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more people preferred
Proficiency in English communication, reading, and writing

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
