Job summary

adidas Group is seeking a Store Manager to lead a network of stores in the Lima region. The role focuses on delivering sustainable retail growth by meeting net sales and profitability targets while coaching and inspiring the store management team and staff to achieve commercial goals.

You will interface with Country DTC heads and retail excellence teams to align on standards, processes and performance. Strong leadership, communication and English/Filipino language skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of managerial experience in retail operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Advanced English and Filipino language skills.
• University degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Experience in apparel/fashion/footwear is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead retail stores to achieve world-class performance in People, Product, Premises, Processes and Profit.
• Maximize sales and profitability across the store portfolio with key stakeholders.
• Control operational expenses in line with budget.
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop store teams and manage succession planning.
• Conduct store visits and develop actionable improvement plans.
• Collaborate with HR, VM, Retail Marketing and Merchandising to support stores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspirationally lead retail stores to a world class position by focusing on the 5 P’s: People, Product,Premises, Processes and Profit.
• Ensure a leading shopping experience and continuously maximise sales and profitability from thestore portfolio, in conjunction with key stakeholders.
• Manage and control operational expenses (OPEX) in line with the retail budget.
• Make recommendations to the Snr. Manager Retail Operations on commercial opportunities at Market level, setting up best practice and benchmarking for success.
• Effectively complete store visits to develop and follow up on practical and achievable action plans.
• To lead the recruitment, on boarding, training and development efforts in his/her stores, activelymanaging the succession planning process and ensuring all HR policies and procedures are adheredto.
• Supporting the Snr Manager Retail Operations with peer group to deliver a world class retail businessand maximise brand equity.

• Adhere to Global standards for all Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Sales Aacademy, Health & Safety, and other store related activities, and monitor/evaluate established processes to guarantee stores’ full compliance.
• To work closely with HR, VM, Retail Marketing, Sales Academy, Store Development, and Merchandising to ensure optimal service to the stores enabling store managers to operate smoothly and efficiently.
• Implementing, driving and ensuring compliance with agreed Global Retail CoE processes and standards for field and RBO operations, while taking Market requirements into account.
• Measure and monitor progress and performance across the various KPI’s and reporting thereof to Senior Manager Retail operations and relevant support functions.
