Job description

Are you an organised coordinator ready to keep complex data centre design on track for a growing global design hub? Then this role is for you.

As Design Delivery Coordinator, you will join our Design Delivery Management Team in Manila, as part of the growing Global Design Hub Data Centre team. Reporting to the Design Delivery Manager or Senior Design Manager, you will manage design deliverables, maintain work-package documentation and keep project records, including risk and change records, accurate and up to date, so that quality data centre design is delivered on time.

What's in it for you?

You will coordinate design deliverables assigned to Global Design Hub teams across the full design lifecycle, from initiation and design briefing through to production, stage-gate reviews and close-out. You will facilitate coordination across multidisciplinary teams, making sure design interfaces, dependencies, responsibilities and actions are clearly identified, communicated and tracked.

Documentation and project controls

You will administer and maintain design delivery documentation and management tools, including work-package requests, deliverable registers, coordination trackers, basis of design documents, risk and issue registers, decision logs and change logs. You will also coordinate meeting agendas, minutes, action registers and progress updates.

Schedule and resource monitoring

You will monitor design workflows, schedules, milestones and deliverable status against agreed target dates, identifying constraints and potential delays and escalating them to the appropriate design lead. You will also help with resource monitoring and forecasting, keeping accurate information on work-package requirements, team allocations and workload.

Quality assurance and design reviews

You will support design reviews, quality assurance activities and stage-gate processes by checking the completeness and status of deliverables and coordinating review workflows. You will maintain evidence of compliance with applicable checklists, procedures and project requirements.

Reporting and continuous improvement

You will prepare reports and dashboards covering design progress, outstanding actions, risks, changes, resource requirements and delivery forecasts for the Design Delivery Management and Global Design Hub teams. You will contribute to improving our processes, templates and toolkits by gathering feedback and capturing lessons learned.

  • Degree in an engineering discipline, architecture or a related discipline.

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a multidisciplinary engineering or design consultancy environment, including design coordination, design delivery or project coordination.

  • Working knowledge of multidisciplinary design delivery processes across one or more disciplines, such as MEP, civil, structural or architectural design.

  • Understanding of design project lifecycles, work-package management, design reviews, stage-gate processes, document control, risk management and change control.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Awareness of BIM processes and multidisciplinary model coordination.

  • Knowledge of resource planning and project schedule monitoring.

  • Good written and verbal English communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to coordinate deliverables independently across multiple stakeholders, and to work effectively across regions and time zones.

  • Experience on data centre or mission-critical projects, relevant project management or BIM training, and familiarity with platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Aconex, SharePoint, Microsoft Planner or Smartsheet are an advantage.

You will also join a community that focuses on learning and development through regular knowledge-sharing sessions and investment in accredited professional courses. You can set the pace for your own development, and whatever path you choose, you will receive the right support.
