QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey is seeking a data science professional to collaborate with clients and interdisciplinary teams to develop analytics solutions. You will optimize code, build models, and translate business problems into analytical challenges that drive real-world impact.

Formación

• 2+ years of practical experience applying ML and data mining to large datasets.
• Strong background in CS, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or physics.
• Ability to lead model development independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of R/Scala/SQL.
• Experience with relational databases and big data.
• Business fluency in English and Spanish.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record; master's in computer science, applied statistics, mathematics, artificial intelligence, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience applying machine learning and data mining techniques to large, real-world datasets
• Strong background in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics, or similar
• Ability to lead and drive model development independently, balancing quality and deadlines
• Proven track record in prototyping and applying advanced analytical and statistical methods
• Proficiency in Python and at least one additional language (e.g., R, Scala, SQL)
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL) and large datasets
• Experience in the real-world application of machine learning methods and algorithms
• Business level language fluency, both verbally and in writing, in English and Spanish
