EBNER Industrieofenbau GmbH in Leonding is seeking a Teamlead Group Controlling to steer group-wide governance and deliver in-depth financial analysis for executive management. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development while partnering with the VP Finance & Controlling on strategic matters.

The role requires a degree in Business Administration or Finance with several years in controlling, including leadership, and a strong track record in international or plant engineering

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field with several years of controlling experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in international or group-wide environments, ideally in industrial or plant engineering sectors.
• Strong expertise in Group Controlling, Management Reporting, KPI frameworks, and planning/forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead group-wide reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and drive KPI development.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and mid-term financial plans with variance analysis.
• Analyze performance, profitability, and cash flow to provide actionable insights for steering the business.
• Act as strategic sparring partner to VP Finance & Controlling and executive management.
• Collaborate with departments to support data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement.

To further strengthen our Controlling function in Leonding, we are seeking to appoint a teamlead Group Controlling. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the group-wide governance, steering, and in-depth analysis of financial performance, delivering robust decision support to executive management and contributing materially to the company’s strategic direction and long-term value creation.”

TASKS

• Responsibility for group-wide reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as the continuous development of relevant KPIs
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and mid-term financial plans, including variance and trend analyses
• Analysis of performance, profitability, and cash flow, with derivation of actionable insights to support business steering
• Strategic sparring partner to the VP Finance & Controlling and executive management on financial and strategic matters
• Trusted business partner to departments and management in decision-making processes
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of controlling processes, tools, and standards at group level

PROFILE

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field, combined with several years of experience in controlling, including leadership responsibility
• Proven experience in an international and/or group-wide environment, ideally within industrial or plant engineering sectors
• Strong expertise in Group Controlling, Management Reporting, KPI frameworks, as well as planning and forecasting processes
• Solid understanding of key financial steering metrics, including balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, as well as margin and cash management
• High affinity for systems and data, with hands-on experience in BI, ERP, and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Tagetik)
• Strategic, execution-oriented personality with clear communication skills at top management level and a strong business partnering mindset
