MGM Grand in Las Vegas is seeking a Bartender to join our high-energy bar team. Bring energy, personality, and expert knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options to every guest interaction, delivering the world‑class experiences MGM Resorts is known for.

You will prepare drinks, keep the bar clean, manage stock, handle cash, mentor junior staff, and provide warm hospitality across varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Formación

• 21+ years of age or older.
• Must have union POUR card.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of bar or similar experience preferred.
• Experience in a resort setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per recipes and assist food service as needed.
• Clean equipment and maintain a polished, sanitary bar environment.
• Know menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections.
• Ring, serve, and handle cash; prepare daily reports and paperwork.
• Provide training and mentoring to Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter.
• Maintain bar inventory and request stock as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints or escalate to management as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

THE STARTING RATE:

$18.04

The Day-to-day

• Make and serve alcoholic and non‐alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
• Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar
• Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections available
• Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
• Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending
• Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
• Perform other job‐related duties as requested

The Ideal Candidate

• Is 21+ years of age
• Must have union POUR card
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Two (2) years of experience in a bar or similar environment preferred
• Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
