Newmont Peru SRL is seeking a Finance professional to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities at sites in Peru. You will assist with month-end close, cost and capital analyses, and investment valuation management.

Based in Lima or Cajamarca, the role involves cross-functional collaboration, preparing Excel-based reports and presentations, and contributing to timely financial insights for decision makers in a bilingual environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Hands-on experience managing month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Strong background in financial analysis, including performance tracking and business insights.
• Experience in capital management and investment evaluation.
• Mining industry experience preferred.

Your Impact

• Support the annual budget and quarterly and monthly forecasts.
• Support the month-end process and the monthly analysis of costs and capital (weekly forecast of financial indicators).
• Support the investment valuation management system and project feasibility analyses.
• Assist with trust management for project closures and other matters.
• Manage business unit risks.
• Support other reporting requirements.nts.

Prerequisites for your success in this role

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Hands-on experience managing month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Strong background in financial analysis, including performance tracking and business insights.
• Experience in capital management and investment evaluation.
• Previous experience in the mining industry or a comparable industrial environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial management software.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and present financial information to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Language Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively in a bilingual business environment.

Your work environment

• This position is based in Lima or Cajarmarca.
• The incumbent may be required to travel and assist other sites nationally and internationally.
