Kyndryl seeks an AI Engineer to bridge AI research and practical applications, building and deploying AI products by integrating foundation models, data pipelines, and production-ready systems.

You will work across model integration, API deployment, and workflow automation, ensuring scalable, reliable AI services within modern cloud environments.

Formación

• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of JS/Go/Java depending on infra.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, and vector databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and API design principles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/AI/Data Science or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Model integration: select, configure, fine-tune foundation models.
• System deployment: expose models as APIs/microservices for web/mobile apps.
• Workflow automation: design agentic apps, RAG pipelines, smart workflows.
• Data management: build pipelines for data prep and model inference.

The Role

An AI Engineer is a software professional who bridges the gap between AI research and practical application. Instead of training algorithms from scratch, they build and deploy functional AI products (like chatbots, AI agents, and automation tools) by integrating existing foundation models, building data pipelines, and optimizing for real-world production.

Who You Are

Core Responsibilities

• Model Integration: Select, configure, and fine-tune pre-trained foundation models.
• System Deployment: Expose AI models as APIs or microservices to integrate them into existing web and mobile applications.
• Workflow Automation: Design agentic applications, RAG pipelines (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and smart workflows.
• Data Management: Build data pipelines to ingest, clean, and format data for model inference.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor AI systems for accuracy and reliability, ensuring cost-effective and scalable operations.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Programming Languages: High proficiency in Python (with deep familiarity in JavaScript, Go, or Java depending on infrastructure).
• AI & ML Frameworks: Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, and vector databases.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS (SageMaker), Google Cloud (Vertex AI), or Microsoft Azure.
• Software Engineering: Solid understanding of software development principles, version control, and API design.
• Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related field.
