PT. Cipta Mapan Logistic in Lima, Peru, seeks an Accounting Unit Head to lead the accounting team, manage month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.

You will oversee cost allocations, fixed asset monitoring, AP activities, and budgeting, while driving process improvements and mentoring staff. Strong SAP and MS Office skills and clear communication are essential for coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum 3 years in accounting leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate cost allocation to each department (cost center) in accordance with established procedures and policies.
• Perform periodic fixed asset calculations and monitoring.
• Provide financial data and supporting documents required by internal stakeholders and external parties, including Tax Authorities, External Auditors, Bapepam, and other relevant institutions.
• Support branch offices during the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare budget versus actual reports to support performance analysis and decision-making.
• Prepare periodic accounting and financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Internal and External Reports, Management Reports, Departmental Financial Reports, Breakdown Reports, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supervise accrual and prepaid amortization journal entries prepared by Accounting Staff.
• Oversee Accounts Payable activities to ensure document completeness, payment accuracy, compliance with payment terms, and prevention of duplicate payments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of accounting processes.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement ongoing development programs for team members at the staff level.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies within the workplace.
• Carry out and complete additional assignments and responsibilities as directed by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounting Unit Head or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of applicable tax regulations and legislation.
• Proficient in accounting systems and software, with SAP experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
