Job summary

Canvendor is seeking a Web Developer to design, build, and maintain web-based applications, including B2C portals, customer portals, and B2B API integrations for insurance operations. You will develop responsive UI with React.js and backend services using Node.js or Java Spring Boot, connect to Oracle and other databases, and collaborate with UI/UX teams to translate designs into code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, Java Spring Boot, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript; Python knowledge is a plus.
• Strong Oracle database experience; familiarity with SQL Server/MySQL/Postgres.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud; Oracle Cloud is a plus.
• Experience in agile projects; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using React.js for frontend and Node.js or Java Spring Boot for backend APIs connecting to Oracle or other databases.
• Design and maintain integration layers between web portals and core systems (TCS BaNCS, CRM, Oracle Fusion, Data Lake).
• Build and optimize database schemas and queries (Oracle – primary; SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL – secondary).
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Support existing web portals, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely fixes/enhancements.
• Implement secure coding practices and adhere to IT security and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to translate designs into functional code.
• Maintain proper version control (Git) and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, Oracle Cloud (optional advantage).
• Experience in agile projects would be preferred.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills; logical problem-solving mindset.
