Qualifications

• Diploma or technical cert in Auto/Diesel/Mechanical Eng.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with heavy construction equipment.
• Proven Volvo CE systems experience and diagnostic software is preferred.
• Certified Heavy Equipment Electrical Technician or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and failure analysis on diesel engines to determine root causes before teardown.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild engines with precision machining and part replacement.
• Read engineering drawings and manufacturer specs for clearance, torque, and timing.
• Diagnose and repair electronic engine management systems including ECUs.
• Conduct post-rebuild testing and calibration to meet factory performance metrics.
• Maintain records of electrical modifications and diagnostic logs.
