Job summary

Yokogawa Oman invites fresh engineering graduates to join our training program focused on DCS, SCADA, ESD, RTU, and other control systems. You will work at customer sites and project locations, supporting engineers in design, configuration, testing, and commissioning under supervision.

We seek motivated individuals with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a GPA of 3.0/4.0, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with GPA ≥3.0 (4.0 scale) preferred.
• Omani national; fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience preferred.
• Willingness to work at customer sites and project locations.
• Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and learning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured internal and on-the-job training in DCS, SCADA, ESD, RTU, and other industrial control systems to develop technical skills.
• Support site service, project, and maintenance activities related to DCS, ESD and RTU/SCADA systems at customer locations.
• Assist Lead Engineers with basic design engineering, including system configuration, graphics development, cabinet design, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and related documentation.
• Support installation, system configuration, loop checking, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities under supervision.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Develop practical knowledge of process instrumentation, control systems, electrical systems, and industrial automation technologies.
• Prepare basic technical reports and maintain accurate project and training records.
• Comply with Yokogawa and customer HSE, quality, and work procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties related to the training program as assigned.

• Comply with Yokogawa and customer HSE, quality, and work procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties related to the training program as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Process Control, or a related discipline.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Omani national.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with limited relevant experience are preferred.
• Willingness to work at customer sites and project locations.
• Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and learning abilities.
