Job summary

Employment in Oman is seeking an Engineering professional to create deliverables and execute detail design under the supervision of a senior engineer for a specific project, ensuring timely completion to required quality standards. Assist in developing and updating Office Quality standards and contribute to value in design optimization.

Prepare engineering deliverables, conduct workshops and reviews, and coordinate with asset teams for information, changes, and approvals; ensure TPS final

Qualifications

• Degree in Relevant Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in upstream oil & gas Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in FEED/ENGINEERING and Minimum 8 years in oil & gas.

Responsibilities

• Create Engineering deliverables and execute detail design under supervision of Sr. Engineer.
• Prepare deliverables, conduct relevant workshops and reviews; contribute to design basis and project specifications.
• Coordinate with asset teams, manage technical changes, and ensure quality and FEED office standards.

Purpose

The purpose of this job is to create Engineering deliverables and execute detail design under the supervision of a senior engineer for a specific project and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards. Assist senior engineer in developing and updating Office Quality standards and add value to the work optimization process.

Prepare Engineering deliverables. Conduct relevant Workshops and Reviews Contribute to Basis for Design Concept Selection, Project Specifications and detail design execution. Perform Engineering studies, review and maintain Quality and FEED Office standards affecting Telecoms in FEED Office. Responsible for initiating the First- Cut design of Telecom system under the accountability of Sr. Engineer Responsible for initiating meeting and technical solution discussions between several stake holders of the project. Responsible for obtaining As-Built information and acquiring solutions in the absence of As-built information Responsible for managing Technical Clarifications- on scope and needs. Responsible for coordination with the asset teams for the information Manage all technical changes internally and obtaining approval from Discipline Leads. Responsible for Scope change confirmation (TIN) Accountable for the Decision Making on changes Mange all Assurance Reviews and action close outs Accountable for Raising + Uploading +Liaising + Technical Variances Responsible for approving TPS Final reports Responsible for reviewing and approval of design and vendor documents in SPO. Responsible for obtaining DEM compliances.
